Ellerston Capital’s Jack Briggs featured in the AFR’s Fundie Q&A

Co-Portfolio Manager of Ellerston’s Mid Cap Opportunities Funds, Jack Briggs, recently spoke with the Australian Financial Review about current market opportunities and the team’s investment approach.

Jack discussed some of the fund’s key holdings including Life360, Seek, and ikeGPS and highlighted how deep fundamental research and differentiated insights into cash flow expectations underpin Ellerston’s investment process.

“To outperform, you need a differentiated, and ultimately correct, view of future cash flows. Our process focuses on understanding businesses deeply — talking to management, customers, suppliers and competitors, and increasingly using alternative data such as web scraping.”
