Paul joined Ellerston in July 2026 as an Investment Director, working with the Private Assets team on the Ellerston JAADE Private Asset Fund. He has over a decade of experience across private capital, M&A and equity capital markets.
Before Ellerston, Paul spent five years at UBS. Most recently he was a Director in the bank’s Financial Institutions Group in Sydney, advising Australian banks, insurers, asset managers and fintechs on M&A and capital raisings.
Prior to that he was in London with UBS’ Private Capital team, originating and structuring debt and equity financings for venture-backed and middle-market companies and building out the bank’s private credit capability. He also worked alongside UBS’ Special Situations Group on a number of structured principal transactions, including holdco loans and preferred equity.
Paul began his career at Fort Street Advisers in Sydney, and also spent time in London with Canaccord Genuity advising on cross-border healthcare and technology deals.
Paul holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Wollongong, which he attended on a Dean’s Scholarship.
